Nothing is more satisfying than draining the inflammatory stasis that's at the genesis or perpetuation of the conditions we treat in Fascial Counterstrain. Thousands of hours of studying and training materialize into uncanny skills that make the proficient therapist appear magical.
But there's one aspect that's beyond the control of the therapist and plays a crucial role in the carryover of the treatment and potential relapses. It is Chaotic Perception, and it is 100% in control of the patient. Chaotic perception activates the survival systems in our physiology which in turn produce significant levels of systemic inflammation. The chronic presence of this inflammation has the potential to damage healthy cells, thereby creating systemic conditions.
The most effective way to calm the survival response is by keeping our attention in the present, and I've found breathwork to be one of the most accessible, gentlest, and most effective ways to help us regain homeostasis.
If you're not familiar with SOMA Breathwork, you need to watch the video to understand how we're favorably affecting our physiology and I also go over the instructions.
Before your session:
Make sure you have not had a heavy meal for at least two hours.
Find a place where you will not be disturbed.
Watch the full video if this is your first time accessing this session. You will need to know what the perfect memory means.
Headphones are highly recommended.
If you're returning and have previously experienced SOMA Breathwork, go ahead and play the session. It is only 24 minutes long, an excellent investment of your time and energy.
I trust you gave this session all your attention and are enjoying the healing. This is gentle breathwork session that can be practiced daily.
It is my pleasure to continue guiding you in this amazing path of healing. My service is what fulfills my mission and also my life.
Until next time, I wish you a joyous, active, and pain-free life.
